Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
We are a small property with limited availability, and cancellations have a significant impact on our business. For this reason, we require a minimum of 14 days' notice for any reservation cancellation. We offer Travel Protection as an option for guests unsure of their plans.
Standard Reservations
* Cancellations made 14 days or more before the arrival date incur no penalty.
* Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be charged for full reservation.
Holiday Weekends
Due to high demand, all holiday weekend reservations are non refundable. Guests will be charged the full room rate for all nights reserved, regardless of cancellation date.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we thank you for supporting a small, independently run inn.

Late checkouts after 12:00pm will be subject to an additional nights charge. Please note: rates and policies are subject to change without notice.
Payments Payments may be made by Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Gift certificates must be presented at time of check in to be credited to your stay. Number of Guests Rates are based on double occupancy. There is a $50 charge for an air mattress that can accommodate up to two children in rooms 1-8 only. Liability
The Old Lyme Inn reserves the right to charge for all damage brought onto the property. Damages to the room will result in a charge for cleaning, repair, replacement of fixtures, linens or towels. Loud, lewd, or vulgar behavior is not permitted. There will be a $300 fee if keys are not returned. The Inn cannot assume responsibility for all personal property brought on the premises. The Old Lyme Inn prohibits any and all outside/off-site alcoholic beverages on to the premises or inside the inn. Non-Smoking The Old Lyme Inn maintains a strict non-smoking environment. We do not allow smoking or candle burning in any of our guest rooms. A $250 fee will be imposed as a cleaning fee for violation of this policy.
Pet-free Facility Although we love animals, we cannot accommodate them. There are kennels nearby that we can recommend for your convenience.
Handicap Accessibility The Old Lyme Inn is wheelchair friendly. We have one room on the first floor that is handicap accessible. Please make sure to request your specific needs at the time of booking so we can serve you best.

We are happy to split the check a reasonable amount, typically 2–3 ways, depending on the size of the party.
Your server will help determine the most efficient option based on your group.

Jazz Club Policies
All ticket sales are final. Our jazz club features limited seating and high demand for performances, and as a result, we do not offer refunds for purchased tickets under any circumstances.
Policy Details
* No refunds will be issued for missed shows, schedule conflicts, weather conditions, or personal circumstances.
You can transfer tickets to another guest, but the club does not help with or oversee ticket resales.
* In the rare event that the club cancels or reschedules a performance, ticket holders will be offered either a new date or a full refund, depending on availability.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support of live, local jazz.
