Al Copley at the Old Lyme Inn
Jazz and blues enthusiasts in Connecticut (and across the nation, for that matter) are probably familiar with Al Copley…one of the most celebrated pianists in this area. The Old Lyme Inn is so pleased to announce that he will here at the Inn for an extended stay!
Every Friday and Saturday in September and October (starting September 7th), Mr. Copley will be serenading our guests with his wonderful music. These are ‘don’t miss’ events for music lovers…Al has played with the likes of the Blues Brothers and Eric Clapton; and has even been nominated for several Grammy Awards.
You can read more about Al Copley here
Fore more information or to make dining reservations at the Old Lyme Inn during one of the showtimes, please email or call guest services at (860)434-2600. Be sure to return to our blog or visit our Facebook page to see pictures and updates on live music at the Old Lyme Inn!
Around the Inn
I was recently looking through all of our Facebook photos taken around the Inn…here and there as the moment moves us…and decided to share them here!
I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
Red Sox vs. Yankees: The Rivalry Continues at the Old Lyme Inn!
As a resident of CT (or the New England/Tri-State area, for that matter); there is no doubt that you have heard this ever popular question:
RED SOX or YANKEES?
Your choice aligns you with a group of passionate fans, no matter the team. Here at the Inn, we enjoy this competitive nature…and it’s a constant point of contention among our employees. In an effort to celebrate this ancient debate, we are throwing a party! Or rather a ‘series’ of parties:

Join us here at the Inn and cheer on your favorite team during the I-95 Series. We will be broadcasting the Red Sox vs. Yankees game on July 7th at 7:15 in our Peterson Room, bar and outdoor patio. The party starts at 6pm, and we will be offering all of your favorite ballpark delicacies and giving away prizes throughout the entire game. Bring your friends and family for a night to celebrate baseball and this wonderful community where the fan base is always split!
Advance ‘ticket’ reservations are available. Please call (860)434-2600 or email for more information.
We hope to see you there!
Celebrate Dad!
This Father’s Day, the Old Lyme Inn will be hosting guests on our patio (or indoors, if you prefer) for a wonderful meal to celebrate everyone’s favorite man in their life: DAD!
On the menu are some items that are sure to thrill all the dads out there:

Chef Dennis will be whipping up some specialty burgers from Four Mile River Farm on the grill, with gourmet fixings sure to please any palette. We’ll also be serving bratwursts and a selection of staple barbecue items. To round out this delicious meal, why not order up a pint? Our typical beer selections will be available, as will a ‘beer flight’ – four different brews (as chosen by you) so you don’t have to pick just one.
We look forward to seeing you (and your dad!) here next weekend!
Reservations for Father’s Day are strongly recommended: please call (860)434-2600 to schedule your seating.

Join us for a fun, casual night of wine and tapas!
