Thanksgiving at the Old Lyme Inn

Spend Thanksgiving with us here at the Old Lyme Inn! We are looking forward to our first Thanksgiving together as a team, and can’t wait to make it the best one possible.  Here’s a sneak peek at our menu:

First Course, choice of:

Roasted pumpkin soup with truffled honey and herbed biscotti

Fall salad of pear, walnut, endive and Great Hill blue cheese

Hearts of romaine salad wrapped in prosciutto

Second Course, choice of:

Roast turkey breast with smoked turkey stuffing, Autumn mashed potatoes and cranberry-tangerine relish

Spiced rare duck breast with Macumber turnip, pickled huckleberries and broccoli rabe

Twice-cooked Stonington scallops with soft polenta, pomegranates and sage brown butter

Tornadoes of beef tenderloin with cognac sauce, potato-pancetta gratin and hard-cooked brussel sprouts

Third Course, choice of:

Bourbon pecan pie with spiced ice cream

Granny smith apple fritters with caramel sauce

Pumpkin cheesecake

Molten chocolate cake with chestnut cream

Fresh pie crust ice cream with warm black fig chutney
